I love the world around me, its people and their creations. I love learning new things, meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I am grateful for the opportunity that I have every day to paint, attempting to capture even just a fraction of the amazing beauty of nature. As many other artists have attested, The Creator is the ultimate artist. He paints with the light of the Sun moon and stars, He sculpts with mountains, cliffs and rocks, He orchestrates the music of wind, waves and birds song, and He bathes the earth in the sweet smells of flowers, trees, and oceans. All of this culminates in the great masterpiece we call home.
As of March 2017 I have dedicated myself to producing art full time. Every day involves learning, mistakes and successes. A lot of my inspiration comes from European and American Impressionists, Illustration art and of course Mother Nature herself.
When I am not working on art projects I can be found spending time with my family, biking, hiking, reading, or sailing.
I graduated with a BFA in 2D media with an emphasis in painting from Brigham Young University Hawaii. Some of my commissions thus far have included a restaurant mural at Kahuku Grill on the North Shore of Oahu, a restaurant mural and sculpture at Roll Up Crepes in Orem, Utah, and a 48×60 oil portrait of a family of seven.
